THIS IS US

Keiraleagh House is a Heritage Building full of character and charm. We are in the centre of town which has a thriving night life , and many restaurants for different tastes within a close walk. There is a great cafe culture present, in town and along the beach front.  Keiraleagh is located next to the free bus, which takes you around the town, also taking you straight to the University of Wollongng.

THE BACKPACKERS

We have a large Balinese inspired backyard, where you can chill out and socialise with others at the BBQ area, lay in the sun on a balinese daybed, or relax and read a book on the grassed lawn. There is a fire pit in the courtyard to keep you warm on the cooler nights and to inspire much conversation with fellow travellers and infuse a bohemian atmosphere.

"If you're a backpacker and wanna have a real Australia experience, go Keiraleigh backpackers hostel in Wollongong. Most nights there's a open fire. There's a lovely garden with Balinese beds to hang around. Beaches are in ten minutes walk from the hostel. Go for a walk to the lighthouse, harbour, city center, do you're groceries, everything is within walking distance. And most of all it's a great place to get to know other travelers and the people of Australia"

"Older style place with the added charm of feeling like you are in bali with its balinese style backyard/outdoor area. It has a very relaxed and chilled vibe about it.
I found everyone including staff to be very friendly and helpful, infact i stayed longer than i originally planned. Its great for people travelling either alone or in groups, especially budget savy backpackers.
Great location as i found myself within walking distance to local beaches, parks, shopping mall, supermarkets and restaurants and bars."

"This hostel is one of the friendliest hostels I've ever stayed in run by a lovely family. I initially stayed in Keiraleagh for 2 weeks but it ended up being on and off stays for nearly 4 months. I met some fantastic people there including my current girlfriend :) The communal area is great rain or shine and excellent for a few drinks / occasional party. It is clean and well maintained. Comfortable beds and secure lockers for your belongings. Any time Im in Australia Keiraleagh will be on my list of places to visit."
